Over recent months Dartington has been discussing new ideas for the estate. This new forum is an opportunity to have your voice heard and discuss these and other ideas with a wide variety of Dartington stakeholders.
We've started with a list of ideas that originated from the public consultation process recently undertaken. Over the coming months we hope this area will be populated with new ideas and innovative solutions sparked, defined and resolved through the process of discussion and interaction.

Dartington International Summer School is a community where musicians and music-lovers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds come together to make music. This new forum is for anyone who has been, or is coming to the Summer School, or for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Summer School from those who have already attended.
You can use it to discuss courses, find people to play music or share transport with, ask others about how the Summer School works, offer advice or keep in touch with Summer School friends.
This forum is read regularly by the Summer School team, but for the best and speediest response to any specific queries relating to 2008’s event, or to give feedback, please contact the team directly at summerschool@dartington.org
This is an experimental space for alumni, friends and staff at the College to discuss topical issues relating to course subjects, other matters on transformative learning and sustainability, and for alumni to connect and reconnect. We will be running the forum for a four month trial period to see how useful it proves. This is part of on-going on-line developments to support global learning through Schumacher College.
Please do join the discussions and remember that we are here to debate but also to respect each other and to enjoy the company of the many College associates around the world.

We reserve the right to reject a posting or a forum member if we feel comments are inappropriate, damaging or offensive. While we do patrol the forum on a regular basis, we do not police every message that is posted as that would considerably slow conversation and therefore severely limit the effectiveness of this service. However, there is a reporting mechanism within the forum that will allow you to report comments which you feel are inappropriate, damaging or offensive. We encourage all members to use this facility when appropriate.
