How to apply for a Short Course
The following notes are for people wishing to apply to attend a short course or courses at Schumacher College. Please note that there is a separate application procedure for applicants for the MSc in Holistic Science and Certificate of Education.

If you would like to provisionally reserve a place prior to submitting an application please email us (admin@schumachercollege.org.uk) your contact details and the course name. We will hold a place for you for five working days.
You Need to Submit
- Completed application form by fax or post
- A deposit of 150 pounds sterling. See application form for details of how to pay.
- To secure a place, it is essential that you send us a deposit.

A place on a Schumacher College course can only be booked once a completed application form, accompanied by a deposit of 150 pounds sterling, has been received and accepted by the College. Applications submitted without a deposit (for example, applications for financial assistance, or requests for course fees to be paid in installments), should be accompanied by other relevant documents (see financial assistance page for details).
Course Fees
For all courses, fees include tuition, residential accommodation, food and field trips. These fees do not represent the full costs, and they are kept at this low level by substantial financial support from The Dartington Hall Trust and other grantors.
If you cannot afford the full fee, please see our bursary and scholarship policy.
If you can pay more, your donation will be gratefully received and used to subsidise those who have difficulty finding the fees.
Schumacher College is accredited through the University of Plymouth as an institution for study recognised by the US Government (No.023521), which means that US Federal Aid and similar funds can be applied to our courses.

Scholarships and Bursaries
It is recognised that course fees exceed the means of some students wishing to attend courses at Schumacher College. The College has its own bursary funds and has also received various grants from educational charities to sponsor scholarship schemes. Please click here for further information.
We are constantly searching for foundations and charities to support scholarships for other nationalities or professional groups. If you know of any grant-giving educational foundations or charities which we might approach for such funding, please let us know. Thank you!
